Summary
“Why did you go to his house?” Louis asks.
His head lays against the armrest of Lestat’s leather couch- one which must’ve taken a whole crew of people to get it into his third floor Montreal apartment. A book rests in Louis’ hands, but the page has remained unchanged for the past thirty minutes. Lestat’s head is tucked into Louis’ lap, shoulders pressing into his thighs.
Sharp blue eyes stare up at him, but the frame of Lestat’s face still holds softness. Louis lets one hand fall from his book, and press into the slightly matted, slightly curled, blonde strands of Lestat’s hair.
“Pardon?” Lestat asks, silken voice pressing into the bare skin of Louis’ stomach where his shirt has rolled up.

Summary
"You can sleep Lestat, it’s okay.”
“I’m sorry I sued you,” he manages to say around a sob.
“Lestat, come on, sshh,” he chides, rolling his eyes. His lawyer would have a field day with an admission like that. “Go to sleep.”
