Summary
"I don't want to go in there." Higher, larger, closer, the door looms without stopping as Zoe drags her feet against the force of her own mind. "Please-I-anything else..."
Mio doesn't know what this is, what deep memory of Zoe's it is that she doesn't want to examine, but she stands in front of the cowering woman as the door swings open, intent on protecting her.

“Flu A, by the way,” Garcia went on. “Congratulations. Robby took one look at your numbers, benched you for the week, and told me—quote—‘get her out of my department before she licks a doorknob.‘”
“He knows too?”
“He knows you’re sick and that I took you home… Whatever else he knows, he had the grace to keep off his face.”

Or: Trinity Santos has a system for not being sick: ignore it, out work it... and don’t tell Garcia. The system fails epically.Series

Summary
She and Dennis don’t have a lot of rules in their home, but the Crocs not leaving feels like a big one.
And now they’re on her feet, while she sits in the passenger seat of Yolanda’s car, and all Trinity can think about is that she’s breaking the rule in a big way. She’s bringing the Crocs to work. She should be stoned to death.
cw: vomiting, appendicitis, canon-typical medical stuff. implied canon-compliant csa.

Summary
“Trauma to the left wrist. Unknown time of injury.” Someone says. A paramedic? Sounds like a paramedic. Smells like one too. A little sweaty, which is understandable, and coffee breath that fans over your face like the breeze from an open window in a storm. That’s not forgivable. It reminds her of school. And therapy. And old men. Yuck.
“Three, two, one—“
She jolts as she’s lifted. Hard plastic is replaced by cheap cushioning and the scent of antiseptic detergent.
Beep. Beep. Beep. She’s tachycardic.
And really, she’s not sure who found her. How they did.
From what she can remember, she planned it perfectly.
She tried. She really tried this time.
Beep.
“Code blue! Start compressio—“or
Trinity Santos is tired. She wants a lot of things. A lot of things she can’t have.
