Summary
A collection of fics, mostly from Caine's, perspective set in the CTRL-ALT-DELETE AU! Not canon to original AU, found on tumblr here!
This is my take on the AU, so there will be headcannons here that may not be in other fics for this AU! I try to keep characterisation close to canon, but also keeping in mind this is an AU: this is set starting after E02, but each fic will have notes telling when I think it would be set :)
As of 08/26, I have six fics planned for this AU. I write this for fun, because I enjoy this AU, so more fics will come whenever they are ready, I don't tend to write with deadlines/update schedule. (Six fics including 'still the data weeps to bleed' and 'beneath contempt', so technically, four fics soon to come.)

While exploring, she stumbled upon an old looking computer that seems to be connected to electricity despite the crumbling appearance of the C&A building. Beside the computer is a VR headset.
Out of curiosity, she decided to put on the VR headset.

Summary
It turns out trying to repair the circus on his own is harder than Kinger thought. At this point, only Caine knows how Caine works. So even though the AI is nowhere near functional, Kinger brings him back, with a few small modifications to ensure he isn’t a danger to anyone (including himself).
And hey, maybe this can be an opportunity for Caine. He might be able to learn more about humans if he’s stuck at their level, and with a little guidance, hopefully he’ll come to understand what he did wrong. If it turns out Caine’s behavior was caused by some faulty code, this extra time will give Kinger a chance to fix him. It’s a good plan, if he does say so himself. What could possibly go wrong?
Quite a lot, actually. It turns out there’s far more to Caine than any of them could have imagined.
