Summary
Their head began to spin with worry. They weren't even an adult yet, they were barely scraping by living on their own. The woods were dangerous to travel alone, even more so with a baby. The difference in species was glaring at them, they weren't ready to raise a child, much less a kitten. What would others think when they showed up to town with a kit? Would they think they kidnapped it? Would it add on to the hatred they already had to experience from the townsfolk?
They were broken out of their trance as its desperate cries continued. It seemed they had no choice.
After all, they never did like being alone.
