Summary
“I’m not particularly picky, I suppose…” Narcissa paused, considering what to say before she finally settled on: “Devotion. I want utter devotion. To be the centre of a wizard’s existence. I want to be the one he thinks of first and last. Whose happiness is his most pressing concern, whose opinion he values above all else. I don’t want to waste a single moment wondering if he’s thinking of me, because I will know that he’s incapable of thinking of anything or anyone else.”

Narcissa Black is seeking a husband.
Lucius Malfoy, most regrettably, has decided that position is already his.

Summary
Hermione Granger didn’t become an Unspeakable to spend her nights negotiating with criminals. Especially not those insisting they weren’t breaking the law whenever it inconvenienced them.
And yet, here she was, tasked with recovering a volatile magical artefact alongside the last person she would want as an ally, whose charm was entirely unhelpful, and whose cooperation came with far too many conditions -and comments that others might be tempted to classify as flirtatious.
The mission was meant to be temporary. The partnership strictly professional.
Unfortunately, Draco Malfoy does not seem to care.

Summary
If someone were to ask Hermione Granger how she ended up with Draco Malfoy grinding against her arse as he mouthed at the delicate arch of her throat while Theodore Nott was nosing along the lace frill of her midnight black bra, his hands dipping into her flesh where they spanned her waist… she wouldn’t have an answer.
It probably had to do with some pureblood prudishness, the presumptuousness that came with being richer than god, and the inability of two only children to just accept that someone on the playground may have a shinier toy than them.

Summary
“Hermione, I don’t think Malfoy has been teasing or insulting you. I think…” Ginny rolled her tongue in her mouth, struggling to speak the next words: “I think he was trying to court you.”
“What? No!"
-
Hermione is determined to smile through Malfoy’s blatant taunting without biting his head off.
Draco is delighted that Hermione responds well to his courtship instead of biting his head off.

Only for Harry to best her in the first potion class of the year and win the vial of Felix Felicis that should have been hers.
