Summary
Sometimes in one's life, they discover that they are not as intelligent and intuitive or as jaded as they believed. There are times when their world is changed by a tiny act and times when catastrophes realign their view of the world. A person's love can turn to hate, and their hate into, if not love, at least understanding. It is not uncommon for persons touched by fate to find that they no longer are what they once were and knew not of what they would be.
Harry, Severus, and Sirius find a home at the end of the fifth year. Not one they expected but one they needed. After being used, abused, and lied to, Harry, Severus, and Sirius finally have the chance for happiness, even if it is unconventional, even by the standards of the wizarding world. The three find the ability to be who they are and to be accepted as they are.
