Summary
Eddie starts smoking a lot of weed when he gets out of the hospital. Not that he didn’t before, but he smokes a lot more now than he did before the hospital and everything that put him there.
Now that monsters are real, though, the usual paranoia he feels has ramped up to two hundred percent. He calls the best monster hunter he knows, even if they haven't talked much at all since the initial monster hunting.

Summary
He knows why Eddie’s angry.
Because of him.
It was a confession that tumbled half-sheepish and half-hopeful from his chest. Previously knotted tight, yet quick to unravel. He’d come over to Forest Hills under Robin’s advice—“Eddie’s safe, I know for certain. All you gotta do is tell him.”/ “And if it ends up bad, Robs? You gonna take care of me afterwards?”/ “You ask stupid questions sometimes. Of course I will, dingus. Now do it before you get cold feet.”
What a bunch of bullshit, he notes bitterly.
It’s all just bullshit.

Summary
When Steve starts sleeping in his car by Lover’s Lake rather than go home, Eddie insists he spend the winter with him and Wayne in the trailer.
He wakes every few hours, bones cold and aching until he starts the ignition and floods the car with heat for a few glorious minutes. Rinse and repeat, each night.Steve knows this isn’t going to get him through the winter. Stuck between going home and freezing to death, it’s still not an obvious choice. Maybe his dad isn’t entirely wrong about Steve having rocks for brains.
Rubbing his hands together and huffing warm air between them late one night, Steve is startled by headlights rounding the bend.
A familiar van pulls up alongside him and it isn’t long before Eddie Munson’s long ringed fingers are tapping on the glass.

Summary
In 1998, 72.5 million passengers passed through Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
One of them was Steve Harrington. In fact, a lot of them were Steve Harrington. Every Friday, just like clockwork, he strides off flight 303 from JFK to ORD, in his suit and tie, phone plastered to his ear.
Somewhere else in Chicago, Eddie Munson's life is pretty good. He lives with his best friend. He works nights at a bar he loves. No, it's not what he'd imagined his life was gonna be like at thirty-two, because Steve isn't here, and there was a time he couldn't ever imagine living his life without him.
But he has, and it's fine, everything's fine. Honest.
He's accepted it. Fortunately, the universe, and Gareth, have not.
After a chance sighting in that busy airport, Eddie has the chance to try and reconnect with Steve after nearly a decade apart.

Summary
Working with Steve Harrington is… not what Robin had expected.
It’s abundantly clear that he doesn’t want to be here (join the club, buddy), but it isn’t half as difficult to get him to do things as Robin had thought it would be.
Honestly, she’d been expecting a spoiled rich kid: someone who had no idea how to do the kind of labor involved in a minimum wage job. Instead, she’s (almost pleasantly) surprised to find that when the time comes, he actually buckles down and works. He scoops ice cream, he restocks, he cleans, he takes on customers with a smile that could actually pass as real – he does his job.
The surprises don’t end there.
-
Robin learns a number of surprising things about Steve Harrington over the summer of 1985. She's not even sure the fact that he's had numerous brushes with another dimension takes the top spotSeries
