Summary
Lady Glinda is a year or two into the marriage with the Baronet Sir Chuffrey with no heir to speak of. Attempts at pregnancy have proven fruitless, and Glinda is growing desperate. Modern medicine provides no solution to her ailment, which is what leads her to a local village near Kiamo Ko. The townsfolk there speak of a woman who lives in the castle; a witch with magic at her fingertips that women and men alike attest to. “She'll make ye’ see the stars, she will.”
Tl,dr: Glinda unknowingly goes to the famed bordello of the Wicked Witch of West.

Galinda put a finger under Elphaba's chin, tilting her gaze up. The deep brown of her eyes was almost black in the shadowy stable, but there was still a mischievous glint to them. There nearly always was. "Must you be right all the time?"
"So you admit I am right?"
Galinda conceded with a shrug, and her front teeth worried a dent into her bottom lip. She was weighing the consequences of whatever she might say next, Elphaba knew.
