Summary
Jason Todd is a Shakespeare nerd. You know this, I know this, everyone knows this.
It is, in fact, so obvious because he will not stop quoting the man. Always, no matter the situation, he has a quote ready.
At the very least, everyone can tell what mood he's in depending on what play he's quoting. They call it the Jason Todd Shakespeare Scale.

Summary
Jason coughs once, napkin held tight to his face. He folds it carefully, and tucks it away in his pocket before anyone can see the blood that speckles the folds.
Across the table, Damian’s gaze locks with his.
They don’t say anything.(The Lazarus pit was always a temporary solution. Of course, that’s something very few people know.)

Summary
Words are the only things left, after everything.
Most people, after they pass, get kind words. Gentle ones. They get words like gracious, like caring and fun and determined and a joy to have known.
Robin gets words that aren’t going to be repeated. He gets accusations that would put a man away for life then make the prisoners shiv him in the yard once they get a glance at what he’s done. Robin gets slurs and swears, gets halfhearted taunts and gets barbed bullets.
Most people had a softer ending, after everything.
Not this nothingness.
Jason Todd had an Obituary, in the paper, that’s how Tim had gotten the news, the news about Jason’s passing. About the small funeral held and the picture in the front page about how Bruce had worn something designer to his son’s graveside service.
Tim turns away from where Batman stands over Two-Face. The drip-drip-drip of that terrible, rancid, red down the gauntlets isn’t something that’s appealing to look at anymore. Tim’s gotten his pictures, he can leave-
Well. After he does one more thing.

Summary
again and he silently begged for any sea god to please let him out of the dizzying, pitch-black hell. His body ached from getting beaten into the box’s side. The water was stale and disgusting in his gills. There wasn’t any light and he couldn’t see anything.
He was so full of fear he was beginning to get numb to it.
He didn’t know what these humans wanted with him, but he knew it couldn’t be good if they started by shoving him into this too-small box and tossing him around like a boat on an angry sea.
