Summary
He doesn't know where this is coming from. His eyelids flutter as his gaze starts to shift, flicking across various points of the table in front of him but failing to ever actually bring anything into focus; he gulps, and it almost hurts. He tries to push through it, but the steady breaths he was taking at the table are gone now and instead they hitch and his legs are bowing beneath him like his knees can barely hold his weight. He keeps moving though, he doesn't want to stop.
He wants it to stop.

Summary
In a last-ditch attempt to see if Agatha has any feeling for Simon or Baz, Penny convinces Agatha to let her cast "follow your heart" on the trio. The spell, in crucible like fashion, pulls you towards the object of your affections.

Summary
Simon Snow, an orphan taken into the guardianship of Davy Mage, has, without his knowledge or consent, been promised to Basilton Pitch. With a catch, if Baz can't fix Simon's behavioural issues and general lack of class, the deal's off. Simon being unwilling and difficult turns out to be a small obstacle in comparison to Baz slowly discovering he doesn't want Simon to change at all.

Summary
Simon casts a truth spell on Baz that only works if the target has something they want to tell you but won't. They can't stop telling the truth until they confess what they want to.
Baz spends the next few weeks avoiding everyone and everything while trying to break the spell.
Simon spends them trying to corner Baz and get him to reveal what he's plotting.
Penny spends eternity letting out exasperated sighs and 'I told you so's.

"“Pour your own tea,” I say, as my hand grabs for the teapot and tips it into a cup against my will. I can tell that I must look gobsmacked. Penny has an identical look on her own face, but Baz just continues on unfazed, smirking the tiniest bit.
“Three sugars, please, Snow.” I don’t think Baz has ever said please to me in his entire life, yet it still feels like he hasn’t, because, even as I tell him to get his own sugar and choke on it, my hand adds a ridiculous amount of sugar to the cup."
When Simon's magic backfires and he casts a compulsion spell without realizing it, he's forced to follow all of Baz's orders until he can find a way to break the spell. Baz is less pleased than expected.
