    When presented with an issue from another world, it's up to him to decide what being the Master of Death really means and how far he's willing to go to do what he thinks is best.

    Rumi felt the words land low and warm. She took a sip to steady the sudden dryness in her throat. “And you want something?”

    “Right now?” Mira’s knee brushed hers under the bar, lingering. She lifted the cherry garnish to her lips and sucked it into her mouth. “Desperately.”

    Rumi meets a hot stranger at a bar and has a great night. On Monday morning, she discovers that same hot stranger is her new boss.
