Summary
“What if this portal is only for me?”
After fighting a long war against a sorceress, Warriors is no stranger to time travel shenanigans. That doesn’t mean he’s used to so many Links who rebel against authority like it’s second nature. He starts pulling away from the others, bitter about the secrets kept from him despite his best efforts not to be.
And then the portal arrives.
Warriors intends to go through alone, but now he and Wind are alone. It’s just the two of them, but Wind is concerned about his older brother, and Warriors’ patience is running thin.
Meanwhile, the rest of the chain find themselves in an era that they are not prepared for, least of all missing two of their own.
All of them are out of their depth.

Summary
A visit to the Ranch stirs up questions for Twilight, who's been struggling to understand his lingering feelings for Midna. Time is honored to do his part in easing his successor's worries, and maybe set a few of his own to rest – his relationship with Malon isn't as simple as it appears on the surface, and being misunderstood for so long has left him aching on a level he doesn't even recognize. The solidarity they find with each other, and the lessons Time learns about mentorship, will have effects that ripple out past just the two of them.

“Well,” the boy said to it as the sun dipped closer to the trees, “your hero didn't show up yet, but I bet they're coming! I bet they're real nice, too. You’re probably going to save the world together.”
He was borrowing it. He was borrowing the Sword of Legend, and… what, checking in to see if it was needed? Waiting for a hero to come for it?
It wasn’t sure what to think. It wasn’t supposed to think about its wielders. But it found itself looking forward to the stories, keeping an eye out while the boy slept, memorizing as much of the information he gave it as it could.
Its job was to protect the innocent, after all.
Or: Hyrule finds a sword. The sword has opinions about this.

There was a ripple of laughter from Legend’s brothers, from his friends, everyone who knew what he could be like. They all knew where the sticking point had been. It was a kind sort of laughter, though; the kind that said thank goodness we’re here.
Legend very lightly kicked at his sister’s ankle anyway.

Warriors leans down to growl, “If that’s what it takes.”

This was stupid. And dangerous. He was going into unfamiliar territory, at night, alone. But he had put on the least ostentatious tunic he owned, there would be no better time, and he was thoroughly sick of his father’s shit.
He threw the rope down and started to climb. When he reached the ground, Link hurried away from the wall, grinning despite himself. He’d made it out.
Time for the dangerous part: exploring.
