By day, the people live their lives as normal. In the light, a semblance of a functional society. But when the curtain of night falls, the Game begins - criminals and gangs come out to play, and Natura flows freely, artists expressing themselves beneath the moonlight with reckless abandon.
Enter our hero: Inigo, who drifts through the day like a phantom with no place and no past. Adrift in a sea of doubt, the answers seem to elude him, but he cannot help but wonder: what if the night knows him better than he does? As he finds himself drawn into the night's gameboard, he finds chaos and clarity alike - but what does this mean for his past, present and future?

But one such man seems to be struggling to leave. Not for lack of trying, mind you. Recognising the portals don't seem to work on him, he draws nearer to the shores of Gjöll, unaware of just what fate holds for him.
(Consider this the “pilot episode” for the overarching story - an origin story for the hero, to be precise. )
