Summary
Dean’s sitting at the kitchen table with Sam when his phone rings. Jody’s name flashes across the screen and he considers not picking up. It’s not like Dean doesn’t want to talk to Jody, it's just that he can’t bear talking to anyone these days.
“Hi, Jody,” Sam says.
“Howdy, boys.” She asks them to take over a case. Something about werewolves. Dean doubts they will, Sam hasn’t let him pick up a gun in months, not since their last hunt.
Jody’s voice cuts through the phone. “Alright, if you boys don’t wanna take the case, I’ll see if Castiel will, but I think he’s helping Claire in Colorado–”
Dean doesn’t hear a damn thing after that, and by the looks of it, Sam doesn’t either. For the first time in days, Dean opens his mouth and speaks. “Cas is alive?”
Jody’s voice is quiet on the other end. “He didn’t tell you?”

Summary
Memories are becoming corrupted, souls are stuck in loops, and whole sectors of Heaven are destabilising.
When Dean Winchester arrives in Heaven, he expects peace. He’s earned it, after all. Instead, he finds a realm under threat from an unknown force, an inexplicable pain in his chest, and the angel who gave up everything to save him.
Castiel knows something is wrong. He doesn’t know the cause, or how to stop it – and he certainly doesn’t know how to handle coming face-to-face with the man he sacrificed himself for. The man he loves.
Together with their allies, friends, and family, they must race to uncover what is causing Heaven’s glitches. But secrets, lies, and a mysterious, handsome stranger who has taken an interest in Dean threaten to fracture the bond between them.

Summary
Dean Winchester works in IT for Roman Enterprises. It’s underpaid, underfunded, and the only good thing about it is the friends he works with. They make their own fun together, like starting a tally for the kinds of porn people access on the company wi-fi.
Confronting the offenders is a lot less fun.
Especially when it’s Castiel Novak. Dean’s surprised to see his name on their naughty list, even more surprised that he has a vampire kink apparently. A kink Dean seems to share, given his reaction to the video.
***
Cas works in accounts, one of his only escapes from life at home with his unhinged brother and Gabriel's equally insane wife. He’s widely considered to be the oddball of the office, never talking to anyone, getting there before the sun rises, leaving after it sets. It probably doesn’t help that he’s a vampire. When he has to hypnotise Dean into forgetting what he saw, it’s a pretty miserable low point of his long existence.
And now he just can’t seem to forget him.

Summary
The SPN Files are a mix of cold cases with missing persons who have disappeared under strange circumstances (jokingly called 'alien abductions' by other agents) and cases that are just plain...bizarre and dark.
Dean Winchester is the overseer of the SPN Files at the FBI. He trained as a hunter of the supernatural as he grew up after his mother was killed by a demon and his dad went on a warpath of vengeance. Now, he gets to use his special skill set and gets paid for it.
FBI psychologist Castiel Novak has been assigned Dean's new partner/observer--with the caveat that he reports back to their assistant director on Dean's unconventional methods and overall low success rate of case closures. He has to be impartial and scientific. It’s difficult to do that, however, when monsters are trying to kill you.
