“Is anything even open right now?” John asked, incredulous.
“Well,” Bucky sighed, turning in the opposite direction of where all the cameras had been, “only one way to find out.”
They all looked at each other and, without another word, shrugged and followed him down the street like a pack of tired strays.

Sif sees the man’s lips curve up in a sharp, cruel smile. “I have long dreamed of seeing Odin on his knees, begging for his life. I cannot have that, but I can at least see his son beg for someone else’s life.”
He won’t do it, Sif is certain; if there is one thing that can confidently be said about Loki, it is that he is horribly proud. And proud men do not beg. Not even to save her life.

This way," Ullr whispered urgently, tugging on Sif, and making a beeline for a desk labelled "Mr Laufeyson.” The teacher in question was twisted over the back of his chair chatting away to another science teacher who didn't have a parent to corral. Even seated, she could tell that he was tall and lithe, as he wore a close-fitting green shirt with rolled-up sleeves. His jet-black hair was just long enough to curl around the nape of his neck and was peppered with white strands. Though he was partially turned away from them, she could make out deep crow’s feet at the edge of his eyes. Ullr had clearly been holding out on her.
Nobody had ever mentioned that his physics teacher was attractive.
