Being forcefully bonded with a pair of creatures that shouldn't even exist was so far out of the realm of possibilites Owen Grady had clung to that at this point he's not even sure what to do with himself anymore. Oddly enough, the only person who isn't freaking out is Henry Wu.

Summary
International Genetic Technologies has come along way from the company they were when the disaster of the original park happened in 1993, for the worse. Despite the major success MasraniCorp and InGen created together in Jurassic World, InGen insists that attendance numbers and revenue are down. They plan to fix it by creating a new attraction in hybrid super predators, which of course simply can't go wrong. Owen Grady, originally brought on for the parks raptor program, is "promoted" by MasraniCorp to the handler for the new hybrids, the Indominus Rex. Despite it not being in his contract, Owen begrudgingly begins to attempt to train these new hyper intelligent super predators, knowing that if he refuses InGen and MasraniCorp would just hire someone incompetent to replace him. However, rumors begin to spread around the island that Owen doesn't like the sound of. Rumors of a secret InGen PMC army showing up on battlefields all over the world have Owen suspicious about the initial reasons behind the raptor program, and now, the new Indominus Project as well. Determined to get to the bottom of these rumors, while keeping his raptors and new charges safe, Owen will have to dive deep into the murky history of InGen.

When one single choice changes the course of events on Isla Nublar, Owen Grady is left stranded on the island alongside both his raptors and the Indominus, the genetic hybrid that brought down Jurassic World. Only, perhaps she wasn't quite the monster he thought she was.
And when InGen and the DPG both return to Isla Nublar with differing goals. Owen must decide where exactly he stands, and what he is willing to sacrifice to protect what he cares about. And for the Indominus, her new life out of captivity is thrown into chaos when the very enemies that had tried to kill her before return once more, and she must decide whether or not this strange human her packmates call 'dad' can truly be trusted.
