What if Senku made a deal with Gen to use their biology so they wouldn't miss having suppressants? It's just a deal struck because their lives depend on keeping their heads on straight until the war is over. It's all fake, right?

Summary
Gen had a show today. It was in Tokyo, near enough that Senku would have been able to go if he weren't in school. That being said, he wasn't in the best mood that day.
To keep his mind off it, he was making gasoline out of bottle caps; he had no reason in particular; truthfully, he just wanted to. Maybe he would tell Taiju it was a love potion just to watch him pour it down the sink, for science, of course.
Or, a DR. STONE rewrite where Senku and Gen met as children (and other changes).

In their three years of high school, they do a lot of shenanigans. Gradually, the more they know each other and their struggle, the more their bromance blooms into something different.
Or it’s typical high school Slice of Life type Anime, but SenGen.
