“Does it matter? I WIN!” Jamie puts his hands up, and munches on the rest of the pocky in his mouth. The team claps and congratulate him—
“The game's not over, Tartt.”
Jamie freezes at the voice. The locker room goes dead quiet.
Slowly, Jamie turns around, and comes face to face with a gaffer who has his arms crossed, and a look on his face that Jamie can’t place. “Roy? You fucking want to play? Why?” Jamie asks, his stomach doing flips and his face hot. Roy Kent of all people would never be caught playing a childish game like this but there he was, pocky in mouth.
