It had been Seijuurou who had confessed to him back in their second year of middle school at Teikō. Truthfully, Tetsuya had never expected it. It was true that he had liked Seijuurou even then. But liking someone and having that person like you in return were two entirely different things.
Looking back, Tetsuya sometimes wondered how the boy he had once been, the quiet, almost invisible middle school student who had never imagined being confessed to by Teikō's most admired student, would have reacted if someone had told him what his future would look like. He suspected he would not have believed a word of it.
