Summary
A crossover between the Saga of Darren Shan (Cirque du Freak) series and Identity V, and some historical figures, and some musicals... and some... musical versions of historical figures. It takes place mostly in more-or-less modern times, in the unnamed cities of the books. Some of the IDV characters are vampires, both in Vampire Mountain and outside of it; some are humans in various positions; and some are other things entirely…
Hastur is the same sort of being as Desmond Tiny, but more powerful, which is how the canon divergence happens…
These fics start with a major canon divergence regarding the last few books of the series.
If you aren't familiar with the Darren Shan books, I would highly recommend them to anyone who likes IDV, and vice versa.
(“my mind is clearer now” is the basis for the divergence, so it is listed first. Everything else is in chronological order. Collections are dated by the earliest story. Unless stated, it’s not necessary to read mmicn before the other stories, even the ones that involve CDF characters).
