    Summary

By his second night in the Yiling Burial Mounds with the Wen Remnants, Wei Wuxian knows he has to do something drastic to make sure the people he's responsible for now not only survive, but thrive.

And since people already condemn the Yiling Patriarch for starting his own sect, well. It might be the way to go.

Oh god why did you have to stop? There's so much more to do to build the Yiling sect, and so many more interactions. And yeah, a lot of them have been written before, but the flavor isn't the same!

In short: this fucking wins, and I want more of it.

(Also, author esama, I think I've followed them entirely inadvertently through four or five fandoms now. In the same order. It's wild.)

    Summary

“First, you get the money. Then you get the power, respect - hos come last.”

Wen Qing traps Wei Wuxian in the Demon Slaughtering Cave, but Wei Wuxian isn’t interested in being the beneficiary of the Wen Remnants’ noble sacrifice. His efforts to free himself accidentally send him back to the beginning of the Sunshot Campaign. Coreless but armed with demonic cultivation, knowledge of the future and his wits, Wei Wuxian takes advantage of this opportunity to come out on top of both the war and its aftermath—before either has a chance to happen—by marrying and swiftly burying the cultivation world’s worst men.

Lan Wangji is confused, hurt, and uncomfortably aroused by Wei Wuxian’s improbably elaborate series of Sect-themed bridal negligees.

“You’re about to tell me you’re going to marry him someday,” Jiang Yanli said.

“Uh,” Wei Ying replied. His hesitation had not been what she was expecting. He had been sounding so sure! “Well. I suppose.”

    “You suppose?”

“It’s true that I am going to marry him someday, if by ‘someday’ you mean, specifically, yesterday.”

Malfoy's list of Things That Didn't Kill Harry and how they pretty much imply he's immune to death, by whatever contrivance fate deems necessary to mete out, down to simply rejecting reality, is rather inspiring in terms of writing. Because god damn that really is one hell of a laundry list.
