“You…?” Phainon’s voice was jagged, shaking. “You’re a monster.”
“And you’re a coward in love,” Irontomb snapped, tone turning cruel. “Don’t worry, I’ll keep her warm at night. I’ll use your hands to hold her, your mouth to tell her every soft thing she aches to hear. And when she finally moans your name – oh, forgive me – our name into the dark?” He laughed. “You’ll feel it.”

“Shut that racket.” you grumbled, regretting your life decisions as a headache started hammering your brain into submission.
