Summary
She once believed Aang could save the world, but now, she must save him.
Five years after Lord Ozai defeated the Avatar, the world has fallen to the new Fire Empire. When rumors of Aang’s survival begin circulating, Katara can’t stand by and do nothing. Instead, Katara leaves the relative safety of her refugee camp to investigate the rumors, disguising herself as a Dai Li agent in order to infiltrate the Fire Nation Palace.
While Katara intends to keep a low profile, she draws the attention of the much hated Prince Zuko after saving his life. He recruits her on his mission to scour the nations and destroy rebel camps. She can’t say no without exposing her identity. But everything is not as it seems, and something strange is going on in each of the camps they find. Could the prince who betrayed her all those years ago really be helping from the inside? She needs to find Aang, but she might find something else along the way: second chances and love.

Summary
When Azulon dies and Ozai stages a failed coup, Iroh becomes Fire Lord, adopts his young nephew as his heir, and ends the war. Zuko, raised as a crown prince in a nation now struggling to make amends, enters into an agreement with the heirs of the other nations in a bid to sow peace and develop future unity. Each year, they will travel to each other’s homelands to establish alliances and friendships alike. But with the threat of Ozai still lingering over their heads, is the world truly safe? Can Zuko, Katara, Sokka, Yue, and Toph keep the world from falling back into ruin, when they’ve only just escaped it?

Summary
After the Agni Kai, Katara flees the capital with Zuko and takes him to the safety of Ember Island to await news from the others.
Zuko's lightning damage is extensive, and it is decided that he should stay there to heal, away from the stress and dangers of the palace.
Katara remains with him as his healer, and during his recovery, they grow even closer.
