Will Solace loved being a healer.
“Her heart rate is dropping. Someone get Will!”
Being on the front lines of battle wasn’t really his style. Too much violence. Too much death. And there was nothing Will hated more than death.
“She’s in critical condition. We need more gauze to stop the bleeding. And where the hell is Will?!”
Will told himself this at least once a day. Being a healer gave him a purpose. He could be a force for good, for regeneration instead of destruction. He was his father’s son, meant to bring light and life into this world. It was a noble purpose, and he loved doing it.
“WILL!”

In the wake of the battle against Gaea, Will is working overtime in the infirmary. As per usual, he doesn't have a whole lot of time to process his emotions. And honestly, why would he? As long as he can keep helping people, Will is absolutely perfectly fine.
Until someone dies on his watch.
Will's emotions rear their ugly heads and overwhelm him, unlocking a new, dangerous power along the way.

Summary
Percy Jackson is having a crisis as he's about to enter his final year of college. Not because of college itself, college is good. College is great, shockingly, but because it involves planning for the future.
Nico is sulking his way around Camp Jupiter because... well because of a lot of reasons. Father being insufferable, sister making him go for a walk so she can spend time with her boyfriend.
Less than an hour later, Percy and Nico have kidnapped a teenager and are on the run from all of New Rome. But that's what happens when you put too many Greek Big Three kids in a 10 mile radius.
