The most powerful being in the world, someone who could do practically anything, who was always successful, who had faced off against so many threats, suffered so much at powers that he was born with, had just failed. All his hard work keeping the world safe, training his powers, keeping his emotions under control, was all for nothing.
His heart dropped.
