Summary
When Simon Riley dug his way out of the grave Roba buried him in the man was still there waiting for him. Two months later Simon Riley was dead and Ghost was all that remained. Roba's attack dog, highly skilled, and damn near perfectly trained too. NEAR, perfectly trained.
When Ghost decides to disobey an order to take out a soldier for reasons he can't explain he expects Roba's retribution. He doesn't expect the rescue that follows though. Nor does he expect that rescue to actually be a rescue rather than a weapons acquisition.
Slowly Ghost begins to find a place in the 141. And he finds that Simon Riley might not be as dead as he thought.Bookmarked by ChasingTheLove

She has pins in her ribs that she can’t take out. The bone has grown strong, but it’s grown to encase them, and now they’re part of her. There is a scar on her side like a jagged seam, where she has been opened up and put back together a dozen times or more. She spent a long time thinking that she was somehow less of a whole, because her body and her mind have been changed so many times since she was born.
Now, Natasha knows better.
She has pins in her ribs that make her stronger, and her mind is tempered steel. She has been made, and unmade, and remade. She is not who or what her mother gave birth to. This is okay.
Every child must grow up.
