Summary
Peter Parker, like any 14 year old superhero mutant, really wants to catch a break. And yet somehow, he never gets one. He's just a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, nothing special, so what gives?
Well, that's only if you don't look at his biology ever since the radioactive spider bite. Or his extensive track record of running away from his guardians and that he was homeless for a bit. Or the amount of people in his life that have died because he's some kind of bad luck charm. Or that his foster-dad is Tony Stark now.
Or the fact that he was randomly kidnapped one morning on his way to school, and now he's in an alternate universe with a bunch of strange vigilantes that keep stalking him.
He thinks they mean well, but they're really weird. Besides that Red Hood guy. He's pretty cool. Though something about them- especially Nightwing- is familiar, that's not important. He has enough on his plate right now, considering there are multiple people trying to upend the fabric of time and space. He can figure out the other details later.

Summary
Simon has traveled light years to collect Astrophage samples from the planet AT-5, or nicknamed Eden. Ellie and him catch the leak before parting, salvaging their Astrophage together before heading home back to Earth. Simon wishes to start the new life he was promised, Ellie has no home to go to and will follow Simon wherever he goes.
But their travels are cut short when stumbling upon Blip-B, a frozen in time submarine shaped hull. Curiosity gets to the both of them as Simon cuts into the hull, only to be met with a man teetering on the line between life and death.
How does Simon handle human connection after so long, and how will the man recovering from a life altering situation and injuries react to the giant salamander alien on board?
