Summary
Ed Teach is having a hard time. Burnout, that's what they're calling it. Ed calls it drowning. But an unexpected knock at the front door brings Ed face to face with the most beautiful man Ed's ever seen — a man in search of his missing pet tortoise.
A plan forms in Ed's mind: Find the tortoise, snag the man.
Easy, peasy, pudding and fucking pie.

Summary
It’s only been a few weeks since Stede got home from their first date and resorted to the sort of internet searches that really should be reserved for people a third of his age.
The recommendations are predictable. Meditation. Breathing exercises. Distracting, unsexy thoughts. He tries a mushroom-based supplement he comes across on TikTok that leaves his mouth feeling like he’s eaten chalk dust. He tries jerking off more. He tries jerking off less. He tries jerking off but not quite finishing, pulling back when he’s right at the brink, like he can build up a tolerance by riding the edge. Mostly, he curses the fact his body has decided that now is the time to stop doing the one thing it’s done so reliably for a lifetime: putting up significant resistance to the act of getting off.

Summary
Stede had known, of course, that there are people out there with tattoos of Ed's dick on them — Ed had told him that himself, back in Spanish Jackie'z before everything went to hell. But it was one thing to know something in the abstract, and quite another to be confronted with the decidedly concrete evidence of it.
Or: An old flame of Ed's shows up at the inn one day, bearing a tattoo of Ed's dick. What are Ed and Stede to do but fuck about it?
