Summary
The wonderful thing about a story full of reveals is that you can go back and re-read once the revelations have been made and re-contextualize your old opinions.
And maybe, sometimes, wonder how the characters kept their secrets so well when innocent, well-meaning comments are, in hindsight, pushing all their buttons like an unsupervised twelve-year-old in an elevator.
Or, in which I look at an older Spellbound update and start screaming about how certain characters (Blurr) are funhouse reflections of key story concepts (demons other than Shockwave).
And also let Blurr get a little upset about it.

She doesn't really talk to anyone, anyone living that is, but she watches. Danny and his friends walk home from school, Jazz fighting with her parents, Valerie's lunch breaks which she spends hunched over math homework in the alley behind nasty-burger. Part of her feels like an intruder, but it's all so familiar. Like an itch she can't scratch on the inside of her brain.
Dani hates it.
