This is not how Chuuya thought his day would end. He’s not saying that to complain. Not at all. He’s just saying that his kitchen counter is dirty now and that tomorrow will suck.
He lifts an eyebrow at the lack of underwear and Dazai shamelessly smirks.
“Since when have you been thinking about it?”
Dazai's smirk only widens. He bends down, and kisses the corner of Chuuya's mouth before licking his cheek to his ear.
“Since the moment you walked out of the room.”
Chuuya shivers at the hot breath against his ear.
“Horny bastard.”
Dazai hums.
“Maybe, but you love it, don't you, sweetheart?”
Even with all the will in the world, Chuuya wouldn't have been able to deny it.
He does love the attention Dazai is always paying to him.

the way they poke and tease around each other like they know the other better than themselves, the way feelings are involved in this, the way they know each other weaknesses and how they put it into use... this is a masterpiece. I'm disappointed I was late in finding this fic

In hindsight maybe they should've kept their voices down.

Summary
Siren Dazai has been looking for a way to end his existence for years but nothing seems to be working. Bored of the repetitive life in the depths, he comes to the surface to observe the sky from the rocks at the bottom of a cliff where no one should be able to see him, but he is surprised by a human child disturbing his peaceful day.
Intrigued by the little creature’s reaction to him, and with nothing better to do, he decides to stay and observe what life the small redhead will lead. However, there is only so much one can know without ever leaving the seas.
