Summary
Though he can get pretty feisty and argumentative sometimes, Tobirama isn't one to fight. Not really.
His default response is to back down and submit; to follow orders. He is the perfect soldier in that sense and it worries Madara sometimes. It is not to say that Tobirama is meek, but at the same time he is clearly scared of people – of their presence and their touch, but most of all their anger.
This type of fear doesn't come out of nowhere. It is something learnt, often at a terrible cost.

Summary
Egg had thought his father would ask Duncan to marry him – make him a legal part of the family so he could always stay with them. To pup his Ser and not even send a bit of help, to not entreat Duncan to stay at Summerhall for his pregnancy – that was a cruelty that Egg couldn’t envision his father undertaking. But here they were, his Ser feeding a chunky babe at his breast while he visibly tried to find a way to refuse to return to their home.

Summary
Jason has a plan, because this time, Jason's cycle would be synced with Bruce's.
This time he becomes bolder, with a more solid plan up his sleeve. Bruce's last rut had been two months ago, which would mean his next rut is coming soon. Jason was sure the presence of his constant heats triggered Bruce's hormones.
If Jason gets Bruce to get him pregnant, not only Jason's place as Bruce's belonging would be guaranteed but Jason would get to have a part of Bruce no one else has come to, cementing what they mean for the other as another human being.
