Summary
Ramattra was built for war. Hana Song was raised by it.
After his surrender, Ramattra is placed inside MEKA headquarters, not as a prisoner, but not quite as anything else either. Watched, managed, and never fully trusted, he’s given a role that feels almost ironic: protecting Hana Song, the same person who once saved him without ever knowing who he would become.
Hana doesn’t want a bodyguard. Ramattra doesn’t know how to be anything but one.
What starts as obligation turns into something quieter. Shared space. Late conversations. Small, human moments neither of them were meant to have. Hana clings to normalcy through music, performances, and stubborn independence. Ramattra tries to piece together an identity that isn’t built on violence. Somewhere in between, they begin to understand each other in ways neither of them expected.
But peace is fragile. Talon is still watching, and the shadow of Null Sector hasn’t faded. As old wounds resurface and new threats close in, both of them are forced to confront what they’ve survived and what they’re willing to become.
A story about healing, identity, and the strange, fragile space between machine and human.

Summary
An AU where Overwatch, Talon, and the rest are actually just Roller Derby team names in the fictional location of East City. Our (genderless) main character Jordan is joining up with the league, but isn't sure which team will choose them. Along the way, they'll get caught up in interpersonal drama, romance, and a whole lot of random hook ups.
This is a 2AM idea that I've decided to try to write.

----I'll be writing nearly every character in the game into this fic, but slowly. Some might not be introduced until chapter 20+, others (my favorites) will be referenced fairly often. I'll update the tags, ships, and more as I flesh out the story and decide which ships will become integral to the story.

Reader (y/n) was working on Overwatch during the tail end of it's Golden Age but after the 'Venice Incident' and the Petras Act they were put out of commission and blacklisted for 'conspiracy'. Now Reader has to start from square one and build their life back up again but very few employers will take in someone with your *ehem* history. Luckily for you though there are others watching from the shadows who could use your particular sets of skills.
This story follows the Overwatch Cinematics and begins around the time of Storm Rising, references and notes to previous events will appear and I'll try to make it easy to follow and connect the dots, apologies in advance for any confusion.
Also, like my other stories I've written this based on how I imagine the reader (thus it being tagged as femxfem) but I encourage and hope this won't deter any non-binary or male readers from enjoying this as well. The world of Overwatch is diverse, one reason why I enjoy it so much, but writing it this way makes it a lot easier for me
