Summary
Jack is quickly learning that Luffy is exactly like his big brother. Three years after becoming the First Mate of the Spade Pirates, she unexpectedly finds herself face to face with the not-yet infamous Straw Hat at the beginning of his own adventure. Now the fun-loving Jack must hunt down her idiot captain with the help of his 'bumbling kid brother'.
“Ace is… my captain,” I answer slowly. “I’ve been waiting a long time to meet you but right now…” I struggle to find the right words.
“I'm so fucking mad at him.”
There they are.
“Where are we,” I ask harsher than intended but Luffy ignores it, or doesn’t notice.
“Some island in the East Blue. Why are you mad at Ace?”
I'm all the way back in the East Blue?!
“That asshole drags me around the goddamn world and now look!” I fling my arm open, nearly smacking Luffy in the process of gesturing at the complete absence of the person who got me into this disaster. “I'm back where I started!”Series

*This story got so big it's in two (2) Docs that both take forever to load, but I stopped posting when life decided to trip me up several times in a row (as it do). I lost loved ones, gained a puppy (who's as sassy as her namesake - Perona), lost an appendix, and am gaining two (2!) nephews. I've been writing and rewriting this whole time, to the point that I decided to reupload this story and keep this original version as a sort of time capsule, because I'm sentimental like that. The new version has the same name and is part of this series to make it easy to find. If you're coming back, the reupload follows the same plot, but feels more like it's been edited and less like a new writer just opened a Google Doc. I definitely recommend re-reading!*
