Summary
The Astrophage was not confined to the Sol and Eridani Systems. It infected countless stars beyond, leaving untold dead in its wake. Most realized far too late what it was that had doomed them to extinction. Others, could not even begin to comprehend that their suns were dimming. Some thought it acts of divinity, rewards for the strong and punishment for the weak. As worlds froze however, such faith did little to stave off their impending annihilation. Left struggling to survive, all most can do is wonder where salvation may come from.
The void may yet answer their prayers.
