Avery has been acting strange all evening.
Derlord shot Avery an even sharper glare. “You are pink.”
“It’s… my metabolism.” Avery blurted, now even pinker. “Digestion is a very colorful process for me.”
“Right. Of course.” Derlord huffed.
D3rlord3 concludes that he’s dying. It’s obviously the only logical conclusion. Avery is dying and he’s hiding it from D3rlord3 so that he won’t worry. Right?

D3rlord3’s King-induced-migraines usually go away after a couple of rounds with Avery.
Until they don’t.
“If you split, could The King possess the other?” Derlord pressed on with the voice he always used when he got hopelessly curious. “The empty one?”
“I mean… yeah. Probably?” Avery's frown deepened somewhat. It was a very valid question; that didn’t mean he liked the implication. “But why would you want him to have a body instead of a second me?”
The sight of a plotting grin caused Avery to retract by a fraction. Derlord leaned in closer, not letting him get away. “Because if he’s in the clone…” he said quietly, as if sharing a secret he didn’t want anyone to overhear. “I won’t get migraines anymore.”
Avery is glad that there’s a solution. He only wishes that it didn't have to come with a grumpy eldritch roommate.
