Summary
Forget love. Forget painting. The residents of Lumiere just want to live. To survive. It's all they've ever wanted. And finally, with Aline and Renoir Dessendre barred from the Canvas, they might be able to. Lumiere comes back to life, and our heroes rebuild. Soon though, they'll realize that everything isn't quite as it seems, and their existence is much more fragile than they had believed. Gustave, Verso, Lune and the others will have to push the boundaries of reality to secure a permanent future for their world.
OR: We can still fix it without a secret third ending! It'll just take a while. And may or may not involve rewriting the laws of physics.

Summary
Maelle has been banished from her beloved Canvas and must face the actions that brought this to pass, all while trying to reconnect with her family in the outside world.
Gustave, Lune, Verso, and the others have declared their independence; now they must find a way to keep it, and protect it when they discover the Dessendre family are not the only outsiders with an interest in their Canvas.
Soon Painters and Painted must work together to save both their worlds. And all the while, the ghost of a young boy grows increasingly exhausted...

When Verso realized Maelle was lying to her father about leaving the Canvas, he gave his all to force her out. He failed, but at least he finally died.

He wakes up to the continued nightmare that is his life with Maelle smiling up at him, telling him everything will be better this time. And now the others are here, Gustave is here, and now he’s offering him his spare room like a fucking saint…

Summary
Pretty much what it says on the tin.
And what kind of adventure do you have on a train? Obviously you solve a murder!
Aline and Renoir Dessendre have retired from the Painter’s Council and relocated to the French Riviera, where they’ve planned a massive combined retirement and anniversary celebration. And all of their children, painted, in-law, and otherwise, are expected to attend.
But plans are derailed when a young woman is murdered on Gustave and Verso’s train south, and the unfinished Canvas traveling with her disappears.
Note: takes place in the universe established by the end of Une Vie a Vivre, but you don’t have to have read it first, the author’s note will have a run down of necessary background information.
