Summary
Suddenly having over 100 people in your home was both fun and overwhelming. But when a few of the objects become a bit too much for you, triggering a meltdown, you discover the worst thing about your new living situation: everywhere that used to be a safe place to be alone now had dozens of others, watching and judging. While looking for a place to hide, however, Mateo offers his inanimal shelter and all the comfort that he and the inanimals can provide.

Summary
Suddenly having 100 people living in one house is a bit much for an autistic introvert. You were able to handle it fairly well at first, but it wasn't too long before cracks in your mask started to show. Eventually you had a meltdown in front of some of the dateables, and though you found a place to hide at Scraps of Hope with Mateo, you knew some of the others would have questions.
Or: the adventures of an autistic main character and the different ways the various dateables around the house learn to help them out in their chaotic new living situation.
This is a follow-up to my oneshot, Someplace to Hide. Some chapters will reference back to the oneshot, while others will be standalone snapshots of the main character interacting with the dateables.

Summary
You wanted to at least be on friendly terms with all the objects in your house. So when the personification of your food turned out to be a snobby food critic, you wondered how you would stay on his good side. Especially when he wanted you to go to unfamiliar restaurants to try new foods with him. Trying new things is not exactly the easiest thing to do when you happen to be on the spectrum and like the comfort of your safe foods.
Or: how Mitchell's storyline might still end up as a "Love" ending when the main character is autistic and struggles with new food.
