Summary
The Check hovers in front of them, mocking. Because this isn’t just Dream’s kid. It’s Ink’s kid as well. His kid - his son, according to the Check - pulls on Ink’s face. Ink lowers their head, allowing his son to stick his little fist into their eye socket. His baby coos and giggles in awe.
Ink thinks that this is the most scared he has ever been.

A story where Palette is Ink's first child, born in the midst of Ink and Dream's falling out. Ink, a now single parent to a newborn, tries his best to deal with raising a kid while trying to reconcile with Dream.

Dream hates being angry. He hates the burning passion in his Soul that flares up any time he’s upset, hates how heat rises to his face and tears well in his eyes. He hates how he shakes and snaps and shouts, how he never thinks ahead, how he just says any cruel thing that comes to mind.
Most of all, Dream hates being angry at his friends.
