Summary
Jayce steps closer then, kissing the top of Viktor's head. His hair has gotten long enough that he'll ask for a haircut again soon.
“I can show him,” Jayce says, carefully handing over the baby on his chest. “She's changed and fed, so she shouldn't be any trouble for you.”
Viktor tucks Mena carefully into the sling he's taken to wearing across his chest, kissing her soft head. Jayce sits on the soft grass next to Viktor's rock, rolling up his pant legs. It's haphazard, the brace on his left leg keeping him from rolling to his knee as he'd like, but it'll do.or

Summary
“Very comfortable,” Viktor says. “You're soft and warm.”
For some time Jayce would bristle at this, being called soft. He worked hard at appearing strong, and he still was, but it wasn't for show, and if his leg hurt him and he needed some days to rest, he could. Plus, he loved Viktor's new softness too, the ease in his motions, the pouch of skin on his lower stomach that would never quite be flat again.
“Can I be honest?” Jayce asks, trying to catch a glimpse of Viktor's face.
“Hmm?”
