Summary
Izuku sits down under a big tree and starts crying again. They’re loud, earthshattering tears that shake his whole body. He cries for a long time, or at least what Izuku thinks is a long time.
“Are… Are you alright?” Izuku glances up at his surroundings. No one’s there, until suddenly an older kid drops from the sky. Big red wings slow his fall, and soft looking, gold-spun hair reflects the moonlight.
(Sorry kid, it’s not gonna happen.)
Izuku wipes his tears and avoids his eyes.
“I’m H- Keigo. What’s your name?” He stumbles over his words a little.
Izuku doesn’t answer for a long, stifling moment, because stranger danger.
“Izuku,” he finally says.
