Summary
The vow Severus Snape took to keep Harry Potter safe is considered shattered upon repair when Harry Potter walks to his own death after viewing Snapes memories.
It might not have been that big a deal, since Snape died before Harry, but the whole Master of death thing threw a wrench into the works, and instead of going off to the afterlife, Snape wakes up in his thirty year old body, the summer before Harry Potter came to Hogwarts.
Severus decides to do something rash, and changes time to prevent the war ever happening.

When Voldemort visits Gringots after his rebirth, he is barred from his vaults due to the changes in his blood and Magic. The only way he can now access any of it is to officially claim his heir and bring them to the bank with him.
The only down side is, that heir is none other than the boy he'd been trying to kill since it was born, and to make matters worse, the family charter would force him to protect his heir at all costs, so he is left with two choices, give up his birthright, or accept his prophesized foe as family.

The Bootstrap Paradox is a theoretical paradox of time travel that occurs when an object or piece of information sent back in time becomes trapped within an infinite cause-effect loop in which the item no longer has a discernible point of origin, and is said to be “uncaused” or “self-created”. It is also known as an Ontological Paradox, in reference to ontology, a branch of metaphysics dealing with the study of being and existence.
Harry Potter accidentally goes back in time, and ends up being credited with dozens of future discoveries because he keeps forgetting they don't exist yet.
