Summary
Derek idly watched Chris’ throat work as he swallowed the last of the whiskey he’d been sipping. He could still taste the remnants of his own glass. The alcohol didn’t do for him what it did for humans, but he liked the way it bit at the back of his throat. He liked the way it tasted too, but mostly he liked the burn as it went down.
~
Chris and Derek have been circling around each other for months—years, if they’re going to be honest about it. They decide to try doing something else.

Summary
Derek barely hesitates before reaching for his belt and opening both it and his jeans so he can get his hand on his swiftly hardening cock. He knows what he’s about to do—what he’s been doing for the last month—is creepy. If he gets caught, though, he’ll be able to point out that Stiles started it.
~
Stiles starts jerking off in the Preserve. Derek notices that, but is oblivious to pretty much everything else.

Summary
Stiles wakes up face down in a pile of dirt and leaves. He would understand this situation better if it was grass. Being knocked out on the lacrosse field isn’t exactly a common occurrence, but it isn’t unprecedented either. Dirt and leaves are harder to explain. Did he fall down while out in the Preserve? Where is Scott? He can probably answer Stiles’ questions. There’s no way he’s out in the Preserve without Scott.
~
Marschester Green, Somewhere-In-England really isn’t where Stiles expected to end up on a perfectly ordinary Tuesday in June. He definitely isn’t expecting to wake up in the woods 200 years in the past with an alive Hale family who are—get this—werewolves.

Summary
Stiles would like to say he first realized his best friend had been turned into a werewolf because of his keen powers of observation and knowledge of both Scott and the supernatural world. He prefers for his lies to have a purpose though, so he’s forced to admit that he had no idea what had happened until the moment Scott said, “What the fuck, dude, are you wearing a Halloween costume? Why do you have a tail?”
So, roughly 30 seconds ago.
~
Scott turns into a werewolf and finds out Stiles is a demon. He doesn’t take it well. The story proceeds from there.

Summary
Derek helps Stiles and Lydia move into their new apartment in Palo Alto on the Tuesday before classes start. He’d insisted the pack avoid living in the dorms of their respective schools. He’s also paying for said apartments, so far be it from Stiles to argue. He hadn’t been looking forward to explaining to a roommate how his stash of dried wolfsbane really isn’t pot, so he’s all over anything that means he never has to do that.
~
The pack goes off to college. There’s pining, obliviousness, and at least one major diplomatic incident.

Summary
“I cannot just pack a bag and leave with you in the middle of the night. This is not a Regency novel, I’m not running away to Gretna Green with you.”
~
Derek climbs through Stiles’ window and kidnaps him in a surprisingly non-violent manner.
