When Solas started teaching Tamaris Lavellan how to lucid-dream, her expectations were pretty low. She’d never been much of a dreamer, so she figured that if she was lucky, maybe she’d be able to dream about flying, or maybe about breathing underwater. Hell, she’d even settle for a lucid dream about something as mundane as making a ham sandwich.
What she didn’t expect was a vividly detailed dream of a torrid sexual encounter between herself, Solas, and a mysterious violet-eyed elf she’d randomly stumbled upon in the Fade.

Tamaris Lavellan gave him a deeply skeptical look. For someone who was Tranquil until very recently, he certainly was lighthearted. “Are you living in the same world as I am? What the fuck is there to laugh about?”
He shrugged. “I suppose that depends on where you find humour.”
She tsked. “If you’re looking for someone to laugh with, you’ve come to the wrong house.”
“You know,” he said thoughtfully, “I don’t think I have.”

In other words: it is canon that people who are killed in the Fade become Tranquil in the real world. What if Solas didn’t kill Felassan after all at the end of The Masked Empire? Patrick and Karin Weekes said in this interview that if enough people care what happened to Felassan, he could come back…
Thus we begin my contribution to the Save Felassan Campaign, in the only way I know how: a smutty romance fic.

In other words: I got overexcited about the big milestone in the production of DA:D, started thinking about Solas and Felassan, and wrote some Felassan/Tamaris Lavellan smut.

Felassan patted his shoulder. “Pride has no plans? This’ll be a fun new treat for you.”
Solas made a choked sound, and Tamaris shot Felassan a smile as she kneeled in front of him. “Listen, Solas, I… I don’t know what comes next, either. But who cares?” she said. “Let’s just start over. We can… begin again.”

After following Nare and Athera to Orlais, Tamaris spends most of her time brooding at home. It takes a chance encounter with a mischievous Arlathani elf named Felassan to bring her out of the apartment and out of her shell.
