“Oh good, you’re awake.” The mans accent was strange, different than any he had heard before. It suited him, and the timbre of his deep voice sent chills down his back. Still he couldn’t just ignore the man, he had saved his life after all.
“Yes, thank you. I’m assuming you’re the one who rescued me.”
Pac has lost his leg in a snow storm, and Fit was the one who found him. But Fit is keeping a huge secret from Pac, one that could change both of their lives.

It rings for a while – Fit’s almost wondering if Pac was still asleep and he’s about to be complained at for waking him up – but then there’s a call joining sound, and Pac’s voice is coming through the phone speakers. “Oi, Fit.” He doesn’t sound like he’s just woken up, thankfully, just a little muffled.
“Morning, Pac.” Fit grins. “Sleep well?”
“Eurgh,” Pac responds eloquently, and Fit laughs.
