Summary
Dean was standing in front of the mirror, rubbing at his jaw with an expression of dissatisfaction. He peered closer, touching the crow’s feet at the corners of his eyes and the rough, scarred skin under his right ear where some monster or other – Dean forgot which, there had been so many – had got a little too friendly. He looked like his oldest pair of jeans: a little wrinkled, patched up and worn thin in too many places. Slightly sad-looking, even on the brightest of days, and with some dirt ground in so deep that no amount of washing would ever get it out.
He sighed and shrugged at his reflection before turning away, heading for the door – where Cas was standing, awkwardly upright with his hands hanging by his sides. He must’ve seen the whole thing.

Summary
Each step he took down the aisle, anxiety burrowed deeper into his chest. Despite his many rows with the pin machine, John would never give it up for the alternative. The alternative was going through the checkout, not the self serve. The check out which involved talking to someone, someone looking at all his purchases with the ability to judge this man before them. The self serve checkout was closed for whatever reason. Despite all John’s grumblings about Sherlock never doing the shopping he never cared.

Summary
It's nothing to be ashamed of. Obviously. It's just a thing that is a part of him. But the Avengers can't know. They'll treat him like the kids at school. They'll infantilize him until he is nothing more than a pitiful sob story that has sensory issues. He dreads being treated that way.
OR: Peter begins experiencing autistic burnout after masking for months around the Avengers. He is scared that things will change if they find out, but maybe he's underestimating them.

Castiel is willing to admit that the finer points of humanity escape him. But this? This is utterly baffling. Why do people call each other by the names of desserts? And why are some desserts acceptable and others are not? Based on a Tumblr post.
