Summary
Another breeze rustles through the branches and leaves, swaying all the sidewalk flora in slow motion. Then, in a more deliberate movement, Mayu sways in toward him, and like a cat sprayed with ice water, Mikoshiba scrambles back the opposite way. He covers his face with his hands.
“Are you really,” he chokes, muffled by his palm, “trying to ask for a kiss, right now?”
