“Please,” one soldier told Techno over dinner, “The Blood God isn’t going to help you. He doesn’t accept any of the blood sacrifices the generals leave for him, so either he doesn’t exist, or he thinks he’s too good for the likes of us. Either way, it’s best to find a different patron.”
Techno had punched him in the face for that. None of his other comrades ever brought up the Blood God again.
Well, except for one.
“You follow the Blood God?” the new kid said, staring up at Techno with unbelievably blue eyes.
“Yeah,” Techno replied, perhaps a bit gruffer than he meant to, “What’s it to you?”
“Nothing!” the new kid said, grinning wildly, “I love that guy. He gets all the ladies. Hey, we should be friends!”Or: Techno is the last devout follower of the Blood God. Tommy may or may not be said god.

After exile, TommyInnit runs. He won't be welcome in L'Manberg, nor will he be welcomed by his eldest brother. It seems like salvation is impossible until Tommy finds a portal leading to another dimension. A dimension where a warm home, and a future, loving family is waiting for him.

Summary
"Tommyinnit was many things.
He was a hero, a martyr, a scapegoat, a 'child', a solider, a menace.
He was also very fucking tired.
The fight in Las Nevadas between his newly revived brother and his former good friend bought back buried memories, and Tommy resolved to just walk away from it when his ears started to ring.He never expected to collapse against a tree and wake up with Dream's fucking face hovering over him.
He never catches a break, huh?
TL:DR, Tommyinnit crashes through realities and wakes up somewhere entirely different, with the face of his enemy being his first greeting into the world.

Tommy lives in a cabin by the sea, just outside the small village of Logstedshire. He has his cow Henry and the ocean to keep him company on the days when stone cold loneliness creeps in like a debilitating disease. Then his life is flipped upside down by three wandering strangers and Tommy finds that the rain comes and sounds like home.
Or, that fic where Tommy takes in strangers ravaged by the world, and teaches them how to love again.
