Prompt: Xiao mourns Morax and what could have been. Zhongli visits him in a dream to try to clear the air and Xiao takes it as his brain trying to soothe him. They fuck. Angst, ambigious ending, rated E, either pov, just make it hurt.
Indeed, Xiao realizes then, their lives are as long as the mountains are as old, but there had still come a day that the mountains had shuddered. The sky had fallen, plummeting from the heavens onto a broken altar, and Xiao had discovered that even the earth is not endless, that even stone will one day turn to dust.
So if this is the last chance they may be together—
