Summary
The well was a creepy old thing. It had had a rickety roof at one point, but the corresponding bucket had broken off years ago and fell uselessly to the bottom far, far down. 15 feet down. He and Steve had taken turns dropping big rocks down the shaft of it when they were dumb little kids. The well was nearly dry, just a thin, filmy layer of grey water at the bottom. The walls of it were craggy old stone that Two-Bit had dared him to climb down at some point, which Soda had promptly chickened out of.
With a tornado barrelling down on Tulsa, it didn't seem as scary.
