Summary
Carefully he opens the front panel to the sight of multiple papers jammed in an almost artistic way. Some of the papers are folded and seemingly forced into the rollers, while some papers are straight up scrunched and thrown into it with little ceremony. Jayce stares at it for a couple of seconds, before he tilts his head to look up to Mr. Reveck, who is not looking at the printer.
He is looking at him.
“This doesn’t look like an accident, Mr. Reveck.” Jayce tries, glad that his voice doesn’t sound as he feels.
“Doesn’t it?” The smaller man’s tone became light, almost curious. With grace he puts his book aside, taking his cane to step up, coming to a halt next to him.
“How strange. I merely tried to print a rather lengthy report, mayhaps the paper was of poor quality?”
